Work Day 18 (4/04) Makassar - Cyber Bullying and IBM Kids Smart

Our second to the last day was spent on another IBM initiative for the city of Makassar, the IBM Kids Smart computers for learning.  We spent the first part of the day a teachers conference on Cyber Bullying to the assembled 500+ teachers were Jessica, from Minnesota, presented for the team on what cyber bull is.  Various other representatives from law enforcement, IBM, and an expert on Cyber Bullying also spoke.  There was a long question and answer period.   Afterwards it was a frenzy of picture taking.  Jessica was lead celebrity for this.  She was quoted afterwards, "the sides of my mouth were quivering from all the smiling I was doing".
